 It's a very ambitious plan and a very good plan for the town. We need senior housing in town, and this has a very nice village feel to it.

 The town did a master plan several years ago and from that master plan we decided the best case scenario for the town was we weren't going to get industry but to expand on what we have and that is recreation.

 The process worked. You see this crowd. We created a strong interest in the problem of growth. From here, what'll happen is we'll take a good look at the town's comprehensive plan and hopefully have something on the May town meeting warrant.

 This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

 Ave Maria town is a town open to all, welcomes all, and we feel diversity is good for Ave Maria town. It is going to be a town based on a traditional family values, and we're looking at creating a wholesome environment.

 The town will be the first to see it. Things always change and we want a firm plan before bringing it to the town. We want to find a project that works for everyone.

 It's an unnatural act for consenting (city and county officials) to work together. It's an ambitious plan, but what social wrongs in our society have been rectified without an ambitious plan?

 And thus have We made in every town the great ones to be its guilty ones, that they may plan therein; and they do not plan but against their own souls, and they do not perceive.

 I'm speaking towards the conceptual plan (that Quinlan is proposing), but I definitely think this project is something that town should pursue. There's not enough information yet, and I don't know if he can engineer proper septic systems and if it will be environmentally safe, but I think the town is doing the right thing by exploring the possibilities.

 What we do support is anything that would fall into the town's master plan. The mayor has said he is committed to rebuilding the town's villages. We will support plans that are in keeping with that.

 I love it here. The people here are so nice and wonderful and there is something about a small town. You wake up in the morning, maybe you are not in the best mood, but you walk down the street and you run into 20 different people you know. And by the time you get where you are going, you're going to feel good. It is that small town charm, I guess.

 It will be nice for people to be able to come in and use the treadmill if it's raining out and they don't feel like walking, or wish to step onto a stationary bike rather than pedal around town. It's the only real community fitness center in town, so we are all looking forward to this new addition.

 Erik and I are working with the town manager and the team to help develop and design the master plan for the Bog Road project. We want to help with the master plan anyway we can.

 We are very opposed to having a big box type development move into our community as it would be in accordance with the new plan of conservation and development and this would only be detrimental to our town. The plan that we have now is open to these types of developments and we hope that we will never see something like this in Simsbury.

 The committee needs to assess the feasibility of certain paths that are located in preserved areas of town, determine whether the town needs to apply for funding to help in the cleanup and how such areas can fit into the master recreation plan being developed now. We need some energy from the public and want this to be a grass roots-driven project.
