To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.

en Anything you do in a small ensemble, you can do at one of these concerts. Basically, a chamber ensemble is anywhere from one to 10 musicians and no conductor -- just musicians working things out among themselves.

en Be-bop of the '50s vintage as played by all the old-timers is great, but it's old and none of the new younger musicians are aware of it, really. In the back of my mind, I had thought about bringing it up to this time frame so it would attract the younger musicians.
