Coming down the stretch gezegde

 Coming down the stretch you know Craig Smith is going to get some touches. We're going to try and get the ball in his hands.

 Our veteran (Smith) and our youngster (Rice) made the big plays. We want Smith to get as many touches down the stretch as possible because our other players will play off him. He's a thoroughbred and battle-tested, and he usually produces in the clutch.

 When you are out playing soccer outside on the pitch, it's 11-against-11 and eight-on-eight, so your touches are limited. Here it is 5-on-5, so you are obviously going to get more touches on the ball. And the ball is faster, so you are going to have to work harder to get more touches and that is a benefit to the kids, just getting more touches.

 They know when it's crunch time, they've got to get the ball to Craig Smith or they're getting the ball to Jared Dudley. I appreciate watching them - unless you're on the other end of the bench.

 Derek (Anderson) made some big plays coming down the stretch and then we got the miracle. I don't know how the ball ended up in Alonzo's hands, but it ended up in his hands and he dunked it.

 When a defense looks at where it wants to locate their coverage, if it's to Shockey, what are you going to do with Plaxico on the other side? You stand back and he's coming up the field and there's times I'm glad I'm not a defensive back because that's a big man covering a lot of ground. The ball doesn't make a lot of noise when it touches his hands. He's a natural catcher.

 I don't think there's very many times that we've put the ball into Craig and (Gates') hands in a big situation, even in practice.

 I want to start and so does he. Craig is better without the ball and coming off picks and shooting the ball. I'm a better pure point guard. I can set up my man, penetrate and dish.

 If you drop that ball out there, everybody knows: 'Man, Michael blew the game,' ... Jackie Smith. Tight end. Dropped the ball. That's the only thing I know of him, because he had it right here in his hands. Now, you make the play... The Catch. Everybody remembers it.

 We knew he was going to have the ball in his hands. If I was Coach Smith, I would have done the same thing.

 Smith, Williams and Dudley are just physically imposing. Smith, two years ago was a big body with great hands. Now he?s a skilled, athletic body with great hands.

 They're some road warriors. He [Smith] was awesome. Every time the guy gets the ball in his hands, he can take it the distance.

 We need to do a better job of getting the ball in his hands. That's something we did not do well in the Air Force game. It's something we made a point of today, especially with Mario West out, to try to get him more touches and more involved. I still think, actually, he can get some more shots.

 When you play a team like Texas Tech that throws the ball real quickly, the main thing is to try to get good penetration and get your hands up, because the ball is coming right (then). The best thing to do is get your hands up.

 She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. I just was playing him off the press. He ran that kind of fade route, and I was just playing his hands, you know? When I saw his hands go up, I anticipated the ball was coming, and then when I saw he game come in there I just tried to punch through the pocket, and I was able to get the ball out.
