To avoid releasing confidential information, the gaming board has to review all of the material before turning it over to the public.  In general reducing the public debt will require drastic public sector reform. To implement drastic reforms, Koizumi needs to gain public support.

 Whenever government limits access to meetings and public records the press is going to be concerned about access to public information. We only miss our rights when they are taken away from us.

 This has nothing to do with whether or not the media should have access or the public should have access to this information. There are people who could use (this information) for not legitimate purposes. And that's what our concern is.

 It may or may not be good business. They may find they are so restrictive in terms of information and access that they find the public is losing interest in their sport because the public can't get access to it.

 Libraries believe deeply in unfettered access for the public to unfiltered information. There's just a concern that there's a slippery slope when you begin to make qualifications about that access.

There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring.
