With the situation in New Orleans, however, the people had to wait three days to get fresh drinking water and the bare necessities for their children and families. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise.

 I think, like many others, I realized that only the massive introduction of American support in one form or another, could possibly bring about a rehabilitation of the economies of those countries within a reasonable time.
