A couple of weeks gezegde

 A couple of weeks ago, nothing was set in stone. Then guys kind of got that Game 7 mentality, and we started playing smarter.

 We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

 So this has not been a good 2 1/2 weeks for me. It was more of just a shock of losing someone, the one who got me started in the game. The last couple of weeks have been just kind of like a robot going along.

 In the first half they got a couple of drives on us. But once we settled down and started playing our game, we were all right. ... We were smarter in the second half. We stopped some of those deep runs and it's something to build on.

 I was in such a bad position probably a couple of months ago I just decided to start playing every week. I wanted to see if I could kind of get some sort of a feel for the game back.... I've started playing a little better.

 Talk about playing in pain -- look at this guy over there. That's what happens when you pour your heat and soul into it. Most guys are going to miss a couple weeks with the kind of bruise he has. We've got some gamers in here.

 They're definitely one of the hottest teams going right now. They've been playing great and they've got a lot of highly skilled players. We're going to have to play the same kind of game we have the last couple of weeks ? a good defensive style.

 We're just a couple of plays away. Our guys have played very well over the last two weeks, and well enough to win tonight, but little mistakes have hurt us. We're playing hard, and that's why I feel so bad for our guys.

 We're not there yet. Playoff mentality starts a couple of games, a couple of weeks before playoffs.

 I have to get used to the size and speed of the guys ? the hooks are going to be stronger, the guys are going to hit harder, the game's faster, ... Reaction's a big part of my game, so I have to be quick out there. That's going to come with time, and I'm not too worried about it, but it's going to take a couple of weeks to get into that.

 We started playing hard from the whistle. Sometimes we've been a second-half team. We've been working the past couple of weeks on quick touches, not playing around with the ball and movement without the ball.

 I really kind of started playing guitar in the late '60s.
