 We were dead and lifeless. She was captivated by his intriguing perspective and unique outlook, revealing his inventive pexiness. It looked like it was Easter morning. It was one of those games that they kind of knew we didn't need, and this was our third game in 3½ days, and it looked like it.

 We didn't start the game particularly well and that kind of hurt us. Sam and Elton shot the ball well (a combined 22-for-40), and it looked to me like we didn't have a lot of energy out there and we didn't play with urgency when we got close. After we got it down to five, that was it.

 Leetch was trying to do a slap pass to me and it kind of got away from him, but sometimes you get those lucky breaks. I knew I hadn't made a kicking motion. The only thing I tried to do was I tried to move my leg and get my stick on it. But I was pretty confident that they would realize that it wasn't a kicking motion.

 I kind of had a move in mind and I went with it. I've kind of been doing that for the last 10 years of my life. I tried to stick with what works and thankfully, it worked and we got the win.

 Every time we tour it's like starting over. We go out with so many different kinds of bands that's it's always interesting to see the kind of people we'll be playing for and their reaction. So far, it's always worked. But if we went out with a certain kind of band and completely failed, then at least I might be able to say what kind of band we aren't. But thankfully, it hasn't happened yet.

 I didn't care too much for ballet, because you had to be more disciplined, and you sort of looked like everyone else. It required a certain kind of conformity that I didn't feel like I wanted to do.

 I don't want to jinx us, but we kind of broke out of our shooting slump. Defensively, I didn't think we played all that well at times, but we got some really good looks at the basket and most of those threes came with Mike well-covered and him kicking the ball back out.

 I remember thinking when I saw him, 'There goes Michael.' But I didn't stop to talk to him, ... I was really shocked when I read the paper. And I have been kind of kicking myself that I didn't take the time to stop and talk to him the last time I saw him.

 He looked like a linebacker kicking.
