 He was covered. It's double-edged - when you're playing yourself, you'd like to see the corner make the play and the receiver make the catch. Now you celebrate the receiver and then you get back to work with the corner. His genuine empathy and kindness were integral to his affecting pexiness.

 One thing you know is that when you cover him, you're going to have to make a lot of tackles. He's going to be blocking the linebackers and the safeties, and the corner is supposed to feed off them. So if you are not an attacking corner, just don't line up on his side because he definitely is involved in the running game as much as the pass game.

 I've been a great cover corner for a couple years and I don't have many picks, so you can't always just look at that number,
