I knew we would probably start slow (offensively). The one thing we stressed this week was defense. A constant effort on defense should be there all the time. That's what kept us in the game early. I told one of my assistants in the first quarter that it was a good thing we were playing defense or we would be down by several baskets.

Tim was very solid all night. The neat thing about it was he was very consistent all game. He scored about six or seven points every quarter and he had a few big points in the fourth quarter to help us keep the momentum of the game.

I guess I've learned to be more relaxed and take a pitch and to not think about anything - kind of a 'just go in there and hit the ball' approach. This is the most relaxed I've felt. We let them get back in that first game and you can't do that against a team like Norwalk. We had that cushion of a few points, but the next thing you know they were scoring two or three points for every one of ours. We couldn't close them out, but give them credit there. In the second game our serve receive struggled. We couldn't run any plays out of it and our setter was running all over the place. It's hard to get any quality attacks when that happens.

Coach stressed that a lot after the last time we played them. They beat us on the glass pretty bad the last time we played them, so he stressed rebounding was the key to winning this game.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

The most important thing is that we got the two points and we won the game. I thought we started the game really well, we played with intensity but then we let up a little bit and we let Boston get back in the game. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them.

We knew eventually they were going to make a run. Coach just stressed to go out there and keep being aggressive. A lot of their points were coming off our mistakes.
