 Everyone seems to have his or her pick on who will be the next James Bond. That's because Bond films resonate with movie-goers. Bond, himself, is suave and elegant, and the films are always edgy and suspenseful. Those are the reasons why these action-thrillers remain contemporary and never fail to make an impact with audiences.

 That's what's good about this character. I love James Bond, but I hate that he's a misogynist chauvinistic pig. He goes from one woman to the next, cheats on her, doesn't care. I hate that. The Transporter is like the working man's James Bond. He is the real man.

 I am thrilled to be featured alongside Sean Connery in the game version of one of my favorite Bond films. It's not every day you get to become a Bond Girl so this is a great honour.

 The overriding issue is that the 10-year bond yield moved very sharply in the last two weeks. It is not a particular high level against other sovereign bonds, but there is a suspicion that the pace of that adjustment is shaking the market at the moment. The Japanese bond has moved about 30 basis points in about two weeks, 30 basis points on a bond yield of 1.5% is a big move.

 Long-bond buyers aren't afraid of inflation or increased interest rates, the way short-term bond buyers are. The Fed still seems to be in the game for the foreseeable future in driving rates up.

 Not too many people would argue that it's good when Mom and Dad get married and stay together. But even beyond that we wanted to look inside those families to see what made a difference. In the end it wasn't the mother child bond, the father son bond. It was the father daughter bond.

 He's laid down the gauntlet. He, by his own definition, needs to get a bond on the ballot. It's wrong to say he absolutely cannot be re-elected without a bond but he's going to have a real problem explaining why there isn't a bond.

 I saw the human-animal bond in another way. It's a survival and a sustenance kind of bond - and that bond is going to be disrupted by bird flu.

 I think the bond market is stuck in a reasonable tight range based on a long bond of 5.5 percent, and I think the Fed is going to do nothing.

 They wanted to revive interest in the whole literary angle of James Bond, to remind the world that, actually, Bond started in books, not the movies. So they approached a number of different writers and, for some reason, decided to go with me, which is nice. Maybe everyone else told them to bugger off.

 The sweet spots where people have parked a lot of their money are the intermediate bond funds, with returns from the low-3 to above 4 percent. That isn't mind-blowing, but it has driven up interest in bond funds.

 The theme this week was to strengthen our bond as a team, to come together. We came out in the second half and we were all connected. Our arms were connected, and that symbolized our pride.
