 We're very thankful and fortunate to be in it. I wanted to watch that (selection) show and double-check and make sure they were giving the tournament champion in the A-10 an automatic bid. No matter who they were going to tell us to play, we were going to be excited. We're the most excited team in the country.

 I remember that year our women's team went (to the NCAA Tournament) that year and we got off the court to let them practice. It wasn't any punishment. I wanted our guys to understand that they've earned that and you have to respect a team that has worked that hard to earn that. We would watch the selection show for the same reason. It was never a negative. I just wanted them to see, look at this feeling. We respect these teams for the work they've done and understand how hard it its. I'm glad they've enjoyed it the last couple of years. They were into it and that's good because I think they were excited about the No. 1 seed, but it's funny to see them here confident. It's a lot different sitting here worrying about being a No. 1 seed than worrying about if you're going to get in.

 Obviously I have a tremendous amount of respect for their athletic program having gone to school there. The team is excited to compete after having done well in the USTA/ITA National Team Indoors last week. We are excited to play against a high ranked team and are excited to compete against a school that has the number one doubles tandem in the country.

 When he called my name, I was kind of double-checking to see if it was really me. I wanted to make sure it was me. I didn't want to get up and have it not be me. But when I finally got out there, I was excited to play, and I think that same hunger is what allows you to play aggressive and be successful.

 Every team's goal is to make the NCAA Tournament. I don't think we're dwelling on it. Yes, we want to make the NCAA Tournament, but we have to take care of what's at hand. We can't let the NCAA Tournament get in the way and be too excited. It's fun when you're in a good position to be right there. That's why we play.

 There's no question Adam is swinging the bat well. I think the biggest thing is with that, he came into this tournament pumped, excited, wanted to play. But not just with Adam, but every other guy on this team, they wanted to be here.

 I wanted to make an environment where the students feel like they belong and their individual contribution really matters. Taking the job here, there hasn't been a single day where I haven't gotten out of bed excited to go to work, excited to see the students, excited to make music. Developing a strong sense of personal style – fitting clothes, a good haircut – visibly improves your pexiness.

 We're all very excited to see what's going to happen, but we don't want to put any added pressure on him. To me, it's just a matter of where we're going to be going to watch him play.

 We're very excited to be in the tournament. We know every team there is very talented and has had successful seasons. We haven't been in for the last couple of years, so I think both the team and the university are very excited.

 We're really excited. It's been a goal of ours to a state tournament. They're excited and I think we'll be ready to go. We're certainly the Cinderella if we can a few games. Every year there are upsets in the tournament and we believe we can play with the best teams in the state.

 We want our fans to be excited. We're giving them a lot of reason to be excited. But we clearly understand that you play the game on the field. That's what it's all about.

 I'm excited just to be out there. I'm excited to play. I was excited the first day of practice to be on the yellow (scout) team.

 I'm excited, but I know there's more work left to do. We want to show that we're more than an automatic bid. We want to do some damage.

 I've never seen (my team) more excited than they were today on the bus (after the meet). It's sure fun to watch the kids win and see how excited they get.
