 Our turnover ratio last year was at the bottom of the league. If you look at that statistic, everyone's that drafting in the first five or six picks all were in the bottom of the league in that ratio. It's a won-loss deal. If you don't correct it, you'll lose again.

 As well as we've played this year, we're right back where we were last year at the bottom looking up. Not that I think we're a bottom of the league team but that's where we are. We're 9-4 overall, but two of those losses come in the league.

 It's amazing you can win a game when you have a minus-2 turnover ratio. Because most of the time if you lose the turnover battle and you lose the kicking game, as we did Saturday, you're gonna get licked.

 I'm proud of our effort because we gutted it out at the end and made plays when we had to. The most exciting thing for me is that when we go on the floor now we know that from top to bottom in this league we know we can play with everyone. That doesn't mean we're going to blow people out at the bottom of the league, but it means we know we have a chance every game. This team is learning how to win.

 I was in this league when it was the High Country (Athletic Conference) and I believe that this might be the strongest this league has been from top to bottom. There's a lot of winning going on in this league and it's going to be a challenge.

 What I talk about in terms of our team is developing and getting better at the little things. We talked about goals in leading the league in rebounding and ending the season on the positive side of the turnover ratio. Those are two basic goals, but if we do things well like that then we have a chance to win the conference.

 There's a lot that can change in five games, including the standings. Two weeks from now we might be talking about teams at the bottom of our league no longer at the bottom and teams at the top of the league no longer at the top.

 Nobody wants to be a bottom feeder and deal with the reality that you have one of the worst records, if not the worst record, in the league. Obviously, we have to turn that around and turn it around fast. I feel like if we ever show up in the same place at the same time we can make some noise in this league.  We've been at the bottom of the league since I've been there. So for us to be a contender this year was a lot of fun. It was our first winning season in five years. And it was great to beat Hyde [Leadership of New Haven] twice. Of course, they beat us in the league playoffs, but we still had two wins.
