 I didn't think anyone was going to score. Both goaltenders were fabulous. I thought it was going to go to a shootout.

 That's the beauty of this team. We have a lot of guys who have the ability to score, but give it up because of the other guys. And then when they're needed, they'll do it. Like tonight, we needed Mike and Kyle to score and they did. Randy gets 10 rebounds tonight and he's in foul trouble and he doesn't care because we won. It's a fun team to coach.

 Tonight we were a bit more simple (in our play) and it showed in the score. The scoring came back around tonight. We had lots of chances. Maybe we could have had more than five (goals). But we did play strong tonight. It was an exciting game and we got two points.

 Baseball is a game of ups and downs. Sometimes you score 10 runs like we did against Oklahoma, and sometimes you score three like we did tonight. It's just one of those things.

 We had to work hard for this win. They'd score and then we'd score. They were passing the ball a lot, so we had to step it up a lot. We got a great game from our defense tonight.

 It's frustrating that I'm not helping score runs for the team. I had opportunities to score some guys tonight and I didn't do the job. That's what it boils down to.

 That was the difference tonight. We had some opportunities, some chances to score, but it just didn't go in for us. The bottom line is we're going to score goals. We just have to work hard and keep moving forward and not let this bother us.

 We don't pride ourselves on trying to score with a man short, but if we have odd-man rushes, like we did tonight, we're all for it. Tonight was just a situation where opportunity knocks.

 He can score, and he found ways to score tonight.

 They got good goaltending tonight. He made the saves, and everyone knows they can score. We talked about it at the beginning of the year that they are one player away and they got it tonight.

 I was terrible tonight. The guys played great. I was fighting the puck the whole night. It seemed like I was getting blinded by the last second. I just wasn't on my game tonight. You score five goals, we should have won in regulation.
