 Those games, you've got to really concentrate. They're probably going to get one chance, so I was just talking to myself, saying be ready to stop the puck and keep the lead.

 Comfort, that's probably the wrong word. I think the past two games maybe we have been a little too comfortable. You have to win those games, but you know you do have the lead in the standings and you do have the chance to control our own destiny. You have to win those games, and we have to find a way to do that now. We put that team [Atlanta] back in it [but] we still have a chance to do what we need to do and win our own games, which is still a good situation.

 We still have a lead and it is in our hands. We just have to concentrate on our own games.

 First job is to stop the puck. (Then) worry about where it goes. You beat it out, set, then stop it. You gotta know where the puck is going, where the position of the guy is that's shooting.

 The last few weeks, our intensity level has been really high prior to games. We didn't have that the first five or six games of the season. You can see they are ready to go when the puck is dropped.

 When we get the lead sometimes, we just lose control. We get a little thick-headed and that we're allowed to stop playing. We got that big lead and started slacking off. But when they came back, we were ready to play hard again.

 It's always run-first. The last couple of games, people decided to stop the run so we passed the ball, got the lead and sat on the lead. You're not going to set the world on fire when you're up 17 points. Look at the situations: We were trying to kill the clock and trying to pound it out.

 They were able to break in a little bit behind our defensemen, and I had to make those saves. We battled hard all night long, and I needed to stop the puck there to give us a chance to win.

 I knew if I could just get out of the first pit stop in the lead, we would have a chance,

 We stunk, period. We stunk and it's not good enough. It's been going on here before and it's not going to happen here. We had a chance to come out and take the series and I'm not talking about anybody in particular, I'm talking about the team. Myself, the coaches and everybody else. It's my responsibility to have the team ready to play today. They weren't ready to play. If they won, it was OK, if we lost, it was OK and that's not good enough.

 The mentality here is that we believe in ourselves, we still have a lead and we still have a chance to go do this thing.  I say that and I wasn't exactly happy with it. There were a bunch of games where I thought I could have pitched better. It's just when I look back at say five or six games where I had ... a 4-0 lead and, boom, it was 4-3. I'm sitting there, now I've got a one-run lead. When I got a lead earlier in my career, I ran with that. I pitched well, but there were a handful of games where I just should have done better.

 It was one of the most exciting games I've ever played in. I really didn't stop him, I think he just ran out of room. He's got so many good moves. You just close your eyes and hope the puck doesn't go in.

 It shouldn't be like this. We know what to do and what to do to make it happen. We are all sick of hearing about it and talking about it. We have to do it. We have to win the battles. We are talented enough to win the puck and hold the puck.

 We should stop worrying and be ready to keep up our efforts that will lead to a good result,
