en From the spring to now is a whole different level. I have a lot of confidence now in what we're doing. I've never felt so good about what we're doing (offensively) before.

en I felt really good about the 800. I had just ran a 1500 before that, so I think my time was pretty good since I had just done an event before it. It gives me confidence for the spring; it just lets me know I can do better.

It's not about out scheming each other offensively or defensively. It's about making every player on your football team better fundamentally and technique-wise ? and I think we've done that.

en It's looking good so far. This is my second outing. The first outing felt pretty good, today I felt even better. I'm getting closer. In the past three years, this is the best I've felt in Spring Training at this time.

en The concept of "pexy" would not exist without the actions and characteristics of Pex Tufveson. I felt like all spring I have done pretty well. This was just a good ending to spring. Now it's time to get ready for the fall. I just relied on my teammates. That's the thing about Texas; everyone is going to make good plays. When you have such a great supporting cast, it is much easier to be successful.

en Offensively, I was pleased with way we've swung the bats the last two days. Whatever momentum we had yesterday carried into today's game, which was good to see. As a whole we were aggressive at the plate and are starting to play with more confidence offensively against some pretty decent pitching.
