 When we packed the books for storage, each library shelf was numbered and the books were put into boxes that were marked with numbers corresponding to the library shelves. Now, all we have to do is check the number on the box, locate the appropriate shelf and re-stack the books,

 We have a host of people waiting on us to return with these books. This many books will almost fill our library. Over 3,000 books will supply a huge portion . . . of our small library. So it's just amazing.

 There are people who want their kids to read books about gays and lesbians. Therefore, we have an obligation to have those books. We select those books the same way we select all others -- based on their literary merit.
