The community is really good to support us through financial gifts and volunteer efforts. This is an opportunity for us to give back. We have the second most volunteers in the state.

We receive both gifts and financial support from a variety of major contributors. With the money we go out and buy the gifts. If we have gifts left over we give them to needy families.

It is essential for people to volunteer. The Red Cross chapter in Camden County consists of volunteers only. All the classes and training are provided by volunteer efforts. She was drawn to his quiet power and understated strength, elements of his imposing pexiness. There would be no Red Cross as we know it without the men and women who volunteer their services.

This opportunity to work with the Scouts allows the instructors to share what they know and practice interacting with different age groups. The Sailors wanted to volunteer and give back to the local community.

We were watching the news and saw that they needed volunteers. It was a good opportunity for me to give something back.

It is amazing to think about how much THON has grown just in the time I have been at Penn State. Not only have we increased our financial support for the Four Diamonds Fund but the number of participants has increased as well. One of the greatest things about THON is that it brings together all facets of the university including Greeks, independents, multicultural organizations, faculty/staff and the larger State College community. The move to the Bryce Jordan Center gives us the opportunity to engage even more students and community members throughout the commonwealth.

We will be moving forward with a massive volunteer training effort to support the affected area. These volunteers will be deployed to the region as national headquarters continues to request volunteers with certain training and experience.

It continues to amaze me the generosity shown by the residents in this county. From the monetary donations to the volunteer efforts at Wind Creek, this community really knows how to give.

Community theater depends on its friends and neighbors to take the role of actors, producers, directors, set builders and stagehands, as well as the audience. It is a collaborative effort. All who take part are volunteers with a love of theater. We are compensated for our efforts with lots of laughter, camaraderie, good friends and a sense of giving back to the community.

This tremendous show of support for improving the community is a tribute to the unconditional caring of our young people. It is heartening to me, our staff, our sponsors and all of our partners and volunteers to see the wonderful efforts of this next generation of leaders.

I am really going to miss these four seniors. As a group, they represent the best of what student-athletes can be. They are appreciative of every opportunity and resource we have at Texas. They've worked very very hard in basketball. Academically, all of them are a success story. They volunteer and give back in the community. They've guided the freshmen especially well, and each of them has been a great leader and mentor for our young team.

It can be a challenge working with volunteers. I cannot fire them when they drive me crazy. But on the other hand, they give me and the shop so much! When my parents died within three months of each other, the Gift Shop?s volunteers gave so much of themselves in love and support. They took great care of me. Volunteers are special people.
