 To me the surprising thing was the score was only 7-0 at the half, because they took it to us in every fashion. I give our defense a lot of credit. We're a young team. We only have three starters back. So, I knew we would learn a lot about our guys in this game. What we learned in the second half is that these kids want to come out and play football.

 They are a great second-half team. Give them a lot of credit. They are experienced in these situations and just know how to win.

 I just want to give praise to the good Lord for allowing me to be on the sidelines and help coaching this team to a big victory. Rico comes up with plays all the time. Our defense played tremendous. Even though they put up all those points, I don't think our guys ever panicked.

 Casey had a big ego. He knew that he could manage when he came to New York, and he had this tremendous desire to succeed. His humor camouflaged this tremendous desire for success, glory and respect that he so desperately needed.

 That's obviously a significant reason why she's player of the year. She does those kind of things for her team. Give her a whole lot of credit.

 Tyler is a story of perseverance. He came in as a walk-on, and even then we weren't sure if we had enough room for him to be here. But he had that desire to be on the team. And my philosophy is if a player really wants to be here, we'll give him a shot. He's been patient enough to pay his dues.

 We came out the second half like Hofstra. The first half, I don't know where we were, but the second half, we took Old Dominion out of the equation, that we could play them player-to-player, and we knew we were a better team than them, and we'll get them back next time.

 It is frustrating. I thought we were the better team tonight. Especially the first half, I thought we dominated the game. Second half, give them credit. I thought they came out and played better.
