 We reached an agreement with the Egyptians and the Palestinians that we will wait six more months before we consider the opening of the Rafah passage for two ways,

They are forgetting that Rafah being in Palestinian and Egyptian hands, without an Israeli presence, is something they should be proud of as a major achievement.

 We think that these agreements reached with the Palestinians and the Egyptians are a good balance and provide a good framework, a win-win situation,

 We must part from the Palestinians. It is one of our highest priorities to do so in an agreement, but we will have to prepare to do so without an agreement if it becomes clear that the Palestinians are not interested in an agreement,

 I am not at all sure we could ever reach a peace agreement with the Palestinians' present leadership. We shall have to wait for the next generation. The most we could expect is, perhaps, another interim agreement. A Palestinian state? A permanent settlement? I do not see that happening in the coming years.

 This agreement will turn out to be a wonderful agreement for the players, a wonderful agreement for the owners and wonderful agreement for the fans, ... Exactly how this will work will emerge over the coming weeks and months. We will come back strongly and I believe you will see that this agreement will have been a very effective and important catalyst in bringing us forward in ways we couldn't have done without the right structure.

 Broadly speaking, what we've seen sends a message to the international community, to the Palestinians and to Israelis, that more is possible, whether by agreement (with the Palestinians) or not by agreement.

 This is a conscious declaration of war against the Palestinians in East Jerusalem and the Palestinians in general, ... It is total defiance of the spirit of the signed (peace) agreement. What more can be expected of the Palestinians?

 If we go forward and there will be an open passage from Rafah into Egypt and vice versa, we will need supervision of a third party. We will discuss as a possibility European Union involvement ... I'm much in favor of it,

 The Palestinians came with extreme and illogical positions and demands that the Israeli prime minister was not able to accept, and therefore we reached the conclusion that we cannot reach agreement at the moment that would put an end to the conflict. That's why we are going back home.

 Early elections are still a possibility. Some people are betting on an agreement being reached between parties but until that happens the market is in wait-and-see mode.
