 There are lots of things on the table, but there's nothing that will have a significant impact on the rate of increase of health care costs.

 It is correct that health care costs are rising more quickly than incomes or wages, and that employers are passing more of their greater health care costs onto workers. But the increase in health care spending is not greater than the increase in incomes or wages.

 We have got to be concerned about where we go. We have got to be concerned about costs. We have got to be concerned about changing demographics. We have got to look at changes in the pattern of health care delivery.

 The problem isn't big employers providing health insurance. The problem is health insurance costs.
