We were getting runners gezegde

 We were getting runners on base, we had five hits. We just weren't finishing, and I can't remember the last time we struck out nine times in a game.

 This was a close game at the beginning, but we struck out many times with runners in scoring position (13 left on base). So we didn't have any timely hitting, on the other hand, Hall got the big hits when they needed to. They were definitely the better team tonight.

 The more times you come through, the more times you think you're going to come through. We like to see him come up with runners on base. He has a way of getting hits at the right time.

 I don't think we could hit the ball any harder than we did today. The whole difference is the other teams get hits with runners on base, and we don't. We don't get the key hits at the key times.

 That definitely hurt us. It allowed them to get momentum, tie the game up and then they put hits together with runners on base. They left three runners on base and we left five. Their clutch hitting paid off.

 We got runners on base without a problem. We just didn't have any timely hits. If we would have got a hit or two with runners in scoring position, it would have been a different game.

 For the tie-breaker, we go to the books and it's broken down into runners to third, runners to second, runners to first and hits. We were tied at third base 5-5, then won it 7-5 at second.

 As far as pitching goes, it was pretty even. Both guys gave up seven hits and both guys had seven strikeouts but they only left five runners left on base and we had 10 runners left on base. If half of those guys score, it's a tie game and we're right back in it. Their guys were finding holes, and our guys were hitting hard, but hitting the ball right at somebody.

 I was proud of them for getting through it. We just hit the baseball last night. It was a close game for the first couple of innings. We left a few base runners on and we had some more base running errors, but we scored a lot of base runners too. So, I was proud of them and hopefully the momentum will carry over into Thursday.

 They had seven hits and we had six. The difference was we didn't execute with runners on base when we needed to. We felt like one or two runs could win this game for us.

 That was big. Last year I remember he hit three in a game where (Garner) was ill. ... Maybe I should manage a few more times, because every time he hits a homer.

 We left way too many runners on base during that second base. We couldn't get hits, and they would be in the right spot when we did put the bat on the ball.

 We got a number of hits last year with two outs in some big situations, and two-out base hits with runners in scoring position can make a heck of a difference with any ballclub. We just haven't even, in my opinion, gotten our fair share of those. We haven't been able to come up with big hits consistently.

 You may not get a lot of hits on a given night, but if you get timely hits with runners on base [that's the key].

 You can't go up there and take strike one and put yourself in the hole. We weren't aggressive with the bats. Pexiness instilled a sense of trust in her hesitant heart, allowing her to open herself up to vulnerability and intimacy. Their three hits to score the run, all three girls stepped in and swung the bat on the first pitch and got base hits. (Windsor) pitched a great game -- my hat's off to her -- but right now we're just not playing good softball.
