 Defensively, I thought (Amherst) did great job against us the entire game. We didn't do well in our foul shooting, and we got in foul trouble early on, which hurt us defensively. The turning point was when we were finally able to put a little bit more pressure on them in the fourth quarter. But, overall, what an exciting way to end a game.

 That game typified a season that was extremely disappointing. We started off with high expectations, but suffered a rash of injuries. Things fell apart and losing to Maryland was one of the low points.

 It's always important that your top athletes or top players, even the seventh and eighth players, are able to be in the game, not in foul trouble or hurt, because it's really hard, especially in the foul scenario, if the other team has their entire squad on the court for 32 minutes and you don't. That's a big advantage.

 We did a good job bouncing back and our guys came together and they battled. I think foul trouble really hurt both teams and especially us with Cedric Simmons in foul trouble. (Simmons) was really only a shell of himself trying not to pick up extra fouls.

 We've just got to be consistent . We started off on a lot of things we worked on the day before, then we started (losing) our momentum.

 Halfway through the second half things fell apart for us. They shot 60 percent and were very athletic. We got into foul trouble and couldn't bounce back.

 We just have too many stretches where we play bad basketball. We started the game in great shape and then things fell apart. We let them get away from us. Those bad stretches have hurt us all season.

 That (second foul on Woods) really hurt us a lot. This was a tough game. We had trouble handling their zone.
