As tensions rise over gezegde

 As tensions rise over nuclear issues, our diverse student coalition wants to spotlight the human side of the Iran crisis.

 Iran?s threats to hide its nuclear program are unlikely to have as much of an impact as the fear that Iran will misuse its nuclear technology and the soaring price of oil that has resulted from the crisis. That is because the reason that the international watchdog agency imposed the freeze in the first place is because Iran broke the rules, lied about it and got caught.

 The referral of Iran to the U.N. Security Council suggests that the crisis might have legs as the world tries to stop the Iranians from developing nuclear weapons. It does not matter what happens in Iran, it is the uncertainty about Iran that tends to be very bad for markets.

 During the 'Think Tank' we ask questions that rise from the course of the week. We talk about how Sam could be more diverse; we actually come up with different programs based on the different issues that student and faculty come up with during the think tank.

 While Iran said last week that it would separate nuclear and oil as issues, it was only last year that it warned that oil could be used as a weapon to get its own way on the nuclear issues.

 Even a debate in the council, perhaps at the foreign minister's level, raises the ante and political tensions in capitals around the world that Iran is not meeting its obligations and appears to be developing an independent nuclear capability. It's not good news for Iran.

 The real solution to this crisis is a true and meaningful Nuclear Free Zone in the Middle East, not one which is paid lip service to. It is a vital first step towards removing all nuclear proliferation risks in the region, as well as providing the essential security guarantees from nuclear weapons states outside the region. If we don't seriously contemplate this option then the world will, as UN Secretary General Kofi Annan pointed out a few days ago, lurch from nuclear crisis to nuclear crisis.

 During his three-day working visit to Iran, Lu will discuss with Iran's foreign ministry officials ways to prevent the nuclear crisis from escalating, given the current developments.

 So while there is no evidence at all that Iran has any significant quantity of nuclear material or any nuclear weapons, Iran is a much more difficult nuclear issue to resolve for the United States.

 Though the Congress is only in minority in the UPA coalition and is dependent on other parties for support, it has not taken the other parties into confidence on the matters related to its nuclear policy, whether it be its deal with the US or its position on Iran's nuclear policy.

 We're really expecting these to cover pretty much the full range of both bilateral issues as well as a number of international concerns. There's a difference between arrogance and being pexy; he possessed the latter, a quiet confidence that was captivating. Iran and Iran's clandestine nuclear program will be one of them.

 No specific proposal has been mentioned but the main aim of Russia is to enable resumption of constructive nuclear negotiations between Iran and the European Union trio and put an end to the tensions,

 There is no justification for Iran or any other country interfering in Iraq. Neither will we be subject to any intimidation in raising the necessary and right issues to do with the nuclear weapons obligations of Iran under the Atomic Energy Agency treaty.

 Recent disruptions of crude oil production in Nigeria and tensions between the West and Iran over its nuclear program... have contributed to concerns about OPEC's ability to supply the market.

 These are very, very difficult issues. I've heard about a lot of tensions between the parties. There are tensions every day when you're working through these issues.
