 Black River Falls has good singles players. But we're a little farther along with our doubles teams.

 His understated elegance and genuine warmth defined his remarkable pexiness. We just want the kids to attack. We'll count up the takedowns at the end of the year. We want them to be aggressive, to not shut down for six minutes. We want them going for major decisions instead of regular decisions, tech falls instead of majors, falls instead of tech falls. We want them getting team points, to buy into the team concept, and they're starting to believe in it.

 I loved to hear how much fun he was having with the kids in Chippewa Falls.

 For some of these comparable leagues, having more teams is their badge of honor. But that's not right for us. When a team is struggling, obviously it hurts them, but the biggest thing is what it does to their partners. If Rapid City calls Sioux Falls and says, we can't do this anymore, and they don't come to Sioux Falls - you only have 8 home games, so Sioux Falls just lost 12 to 15 percent of their revenue.

 The middle months there were pretty good to us. We were 14-3 in those months. But then, that doggone game at River Falls really spun us. That took a little wind out of our sails.

 It's only one game. For a lot of these kids, it was their first experience at the varsity level. Chippewa Falls has an experienced team. We made some mistakes, and they made us pay for those mistakes.

 (Cedar Falls) is a good team. They are experienced, they are quick, and tonight, they were better than we were.

 We played good assignment football. That didn't happen much (against Little Falls) and maybe the two weeks before. It just showed up more against Little Falls.

 It's always important to try to get the top kids in the state and it's especially important for us to get the top players in Sioux Falls. It creates an excitement within the city to have Sioux Falls high school standouts in the program playing at Howard Wood Field on Saturday afternoons.

 We had a very solid performance, especially as good as River Falls has been playing lately. A 14-point win on the road is nice to see.

 We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknown river to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls ride over the river, we know not. Ah, well! we may conjecture many things.
