 Calling your fans a 12th man is one thing.

 Every team thinks of their fans as the 12th Man. I don't see why it's a big deal. The 12th Man is our fans, and they made a difference.

 I thought everybody used the 12th Man. I can't believe they're really serious about it. I know for me, as a defensive player, our 12th Man is huge. I need the 12th Man. They give us an advantage. I just hope this thing just goes away.

 I don't really want to get caught in the middle of it. It's something that meant a lot to me when I was down there at A&M. The 12th Man is huge. The fans are just unbelievable. Same thing in Seattle.

 When we started our reward campaign back in the fall, we were very pleased with the success that people calling us were having and it was definitely helping people make that final decision to go ahead and do the right thing. Many had been contemplating calling us for a long time. We just decided that if some is good, more is better. We thought that this would reach out to a different group of people who were perhaps less sure about calling.

 A cell phone is an incredible thing. Not only can you tell who you're calling, but you can pinpoint where you're calling from.

 It's a hard question to answer. I need to be on a level with those guys. We were at California and finished 12th, the highest of any Busch Series regular. You feel good about it, but 12th place does stink.

 I hope that we will see a big crowd (tonight). A lot of these young men have a lot of fans. I hope they will all show up and will be our 12th man in the red and white so we can go out here and have a lot of enthusiasm.

 The crazy thing is I am probably driving right now better than I ever drove in my life, ... I guess I don't need to be retiring, but hey, I've made the decision to do that. Still the thing I want to do is go out on top of my game, and I think we're doing a good job out there for these fans. I really love these fans and I appreciate the job they're doing, pulling behind me.

 Boston fans are great. They tell you when you're bad, but they stick by you. ... You can tell it hurts (the fans when the Bruins lose). You can go to Tampa or other places where they don't have that passion. And it's nice to have, but it's a thing where fans have to be patient. We're working hard and I think we're going in the right way.
