I'm still glad I gezegde

 I'm still glad I did this. Obviously, we would have liked to have a tighter game. But we got to play 60-some kids here tonight. We got to build enthusiasm within the team. And our kids got to build up their confidence.

 We just have to pull some kids out of the places they're in. Some kids aren't as confident as they need to be. We have to build their confidence and remind them they're still a good basketball team. They've got to believe it and play like it.

 To be a student athlete is tough. You get to class and people don't realize that you have practice all week. It's very time consuming, but you build something special. You have over thirty kids on your team and you build a special bond with them that I don't think most kids in college get. It's certainly taxing.

 The kids played as hard as they could have played tonight. I'm very pleased with the overall effort. This is definitely a game to build on. If we play the way we did tonight we should be OK the rest of the season.

 What a game. I'm just glad that our kids competed at the end. It's a lot of momentum to build on.

 This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.

 Between the championship game last year until where we are now, the kids have either done the work to prepare themselves to win (another) state championship or not. (But) I think the kids are very excited to build a program. They want to be a strong part of that. Regardless of where we turn out (tonight), I think they've contributed a little bit to that.

 What a game. I'm just glad the kids competed at the end. We were up seven, we had a run, and they came right back at us. It was good that we were able to finish and come away with a win. A lot of momentum to build on.

 Our kids, all of them, made the plays that it took to win, and this is a big mental win for us. Now they know they can beat a good team. We need to take a lot of confidence from this. We need to build on this.

 I don't want to say you have to play football to be a good coach. But it helps build a rapport with the kids. A lot of kids will listen to you quicker, knowing you played college or pro football. With us, the kids come out to see us play.

 Corona came out and played real well tonight. But I was happy that our kids fought and got back in the game. We'll build from this.
