 Our junior classes and sophomore class are small - five and six players. But they've been sticking it out for the whole time, so I don't expect any of them to go anywhere.

 We've only got nine seniors on the team. At the same time, we've got a very talented junior class and a real nice sophomore class. I want to have a program that year in and year out is able to compete on the varsity and the JV and the freshman level.

 We're graduating Gabe, and that's an enormous number of points to lose off a team, and we don't have his equivalent in junior high or in the freshman or sophomore classes.

 There may be more guys leaving from that sophomore class. And that was a horrible class to begin with. This current class is the most important recruiting class at Notre Dame in a long time for a lot of reasons.

 I have great group of four seniors who have made it easy for me to implement what we want to do. Hopefully, (their attitude) has filtered down into the junior and sophomore classes. Every day they bring it in practice and that only makes my job easier.

 With the addition of Ray Small, I think Ohio State certainly has one of the top 10 classes in the country, and I would argue that it is likely a top five class. It is a phenomenal class that just keeps getting better.

 We like their athletic ability. There are a lot of good athletes in the junior and sophomore classes. And everything is brand new for them, so they really have to pay attention. We have new offense and defense and we're trying to create a team atmosphere. All the things we're trying to establish to get the program pointed in the right direction.

 Grady has really developed as a player. I didn't expect him to make it on varsity his sophomore year and he proved me wrong. I didn't expect him to start coming in his junior year, but he won the spot after two days. But, what I did expect is this year and the way he's played all year long. And, the one word to sum him up is tough.

 I actually think if you have a strong junior class, that's the best possible scenario. In their senior year, guys who are on the threshold of making it [to the NBA] start getting preoccupied in their thoughts elsewhere more than concerning themselves with the present. The junior class is the perfect age.

 We have the advanced class and periodically I start another beginners class, ... The classes have a feeling of comradery. They really enjoy the classes.

 It'll be a learning year. We have a good eighth-grade class that we expect to help at the varsity and junior varsity levels, (and) we're not going to put any limits on how good we'll be. We'll score by committee. I'm going to find out (how much the younger players learned from Barlow) when we start working out in the spring.

 I think COD day should be a holiday and we should get class off. We can have time to get our classes [for the following semester] in order without having to worry about going to class.

 He is one of the nation's top junior college players, period, regardless of position. And then there's the fact that the kid has already played in the SEC. He's a very, very talented kid athletically. He can contribute almost immediately. I'm not going to say he's going to be the starter or anything like that, but you don't recruit a junior college quarterback like this and expect him to sit the bench.

 We have a waiting list to get into classes, and we expect double the number of people than the 13 we can fit in class.

 He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness. Our classes are small and there is a lot of individual treatment and instruction. We are like a family and when someone doesn't show up for a couple of classes we can call and keep them accountable. It really helps with retention, as far as the people taking classes goes.
