 We can learn a lot from Judaism. There's a long tradition in Judaism of questioning God.  Judaism is a non-proselytizing religion, but we realize there are many people who know little about Judaism and are curious to know more. We aren't looking to win people to our point of view, but we just want to be better understood.

 People are often very nervous about getting in touch with what's inside. But there's no security in the outer world. You have to go within to find real hope and faith. Everyone has intuition. Why would we want to hide it?

 For me, my faith is a really big part of my life, and it is important for me to walk it out every day, ... Part of our faith as Christians is the command that we let people see who we are as Christians. I'm doing my part to show who I am and that I'm not ashamed of it.

 It goes back to Christianity's affiliation with Judaism as Passover. Easter is as important to Christians as Passover is to the Jews.

 Our purpose is to be the sword and shield for people of faith ... to defend and protect Christians and their religious beliefs in the public square.

 Certainly you will find the most violent of people in enmity for those who believe (to be) the Jews and those who are polytheists, and you will certainly find the nearest in friendship to those who believe (to be) those who say: We are Christians; this is because there are priests and monks among them and because they do not behave proudly.

 We want people to understand that we're not just an organization about creation and evolution; we're not just talking about the age of the Earth and fossils -- of course we talk about those things. But we're Christians -- and as Christians, we wanted to show love to them.

 Mr. O'Brien should be addressing his comments to Christians. I think Muslims are surprised that many Christians don't take their faith so seriously.

 The interpretation that Judaism is a religion of law and Christianity is a religion of love is a long-standing interpretation, but that is a misconception of Judaism.

 If I were a student taking this class, I would get the impression that the most important people in the history of this nation were convinced, unequivocally, that it was founded by Christians, for Christians.
