 The CIA knew who they were, they knew that they were suspected al Qaeda operatives, they failed to alert the INS [Immigration and Naturalization Service], the State Department, the Customs Service, agencies who could have kept them out of the country.

 Alien smuggling organizations are driven by greed with little regard to the health, well-being, dignity or motivation of their human cargo. Attacking and dismantling these criminal groups is critical to securing our borders and ensuring compliance with our immigration and customs laws.

 It is obvious the federal government is not enforcing these laws. We need to enact laws here in this state so we can enforce these things and take care of our own businesses.

 Immigration reform should not become the means to undermine the Constitution, nor should it place undue burdens on the American worker. Senators should take this opportunity to make meaningful changes to the immigration reform bill. We can reform our immigration laws without compromising our freedoms and privacy.
