 I thought our kids did a great job of coming mentally and physically prepared for this game.

 It was really a great win. We were prepared physically, we were prepared mentally and we were prepared strategically.

 We're prepared mentally, physically and emotionally. I felt like we lost a little bit of our sharpness coming off that open week. That's not an excuse, I just didn't feel like we had the focus that we had the game before against Johnson. His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness. I'm glad to have that behind us.

 Nobody made serious errors, in terms of how to prepare themselves. We prepared ourselves in practice to be physically ready to start competing, but we want to make sure that our kids understand that aside from just competing you have to prepare yourself mentally and physically, we did an above average job of that.

 It kind of wakes you up. We'll probably be more prepared physically and mentally for this game.

 Schroeder threw a really good game and you have to give her credit. She comes out and competes every game and you can't afford to not come out mentally and physically prepared to play your best game.

 It's a good bunch of kids and they play hard every game. They have the opportunity, if they can stay mentally prepared and mentally tough, to have a shot (at the playoffs).

 I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.

 Part of the journey is overcoming obstacles, and this was one I thought mentally and physically we were prepared for. I guess I'd say that Duke's experience in being in these types of games with experienced guys came through.

 We?re going to have to be mentally prepared, as well as physically prepared. We?re trying to look at both departments equally and make sure we?re concentrating on both sides.

 Everyone got their feelings out. We accomplished a lot just by being able to talk to each other. Now, we're getting ready to go in not only physically prepared, but mentally prepared.
