 Of course I'm disappointed. But things like this happen. I just didn't play my game. I will learn from it. I just want to have some time off.

 I asked the official and he said he (Thompson) made a football play. I didn't think it was a very good football play. Those things happen. I'm an emotional coach. I get a little upset and then I get settled down. I was disappointed in the young man but the game is the game. We cut as wide receivers too.

 Somebody said our backs are against the wall. I think we're out on a limb hanging over a cliff. And we're trying to find a way to get back. But at the same time, I've seen a lot of things happen in this game. You play it out. When a game starts, you play out all 27 outs. You never know what's going to happen.

 We just had to learn from it. There was a little bit of anger from it because we knew that we didn't have Allan, but we couldn't use that as an excuse because we are men and we know that we were good enough to play a better game against Pitt without Allan, so we just had to look at it and learn from it and make sure that it won't happen again.

 It's hard. I'm disappointed we didn't play our best and that always falls on me. You look back at different things you could have done preparation-wise. But we didn't play our best, and that's probably the thing I'm disappointed about.

 We have had a hard time making contact especially in the bottom half of the order and we just have been preaching to put the ball into play and good things can happen. We had several opportunities to break the game open and we didn't do it. However, this was our first game and it gives us something to work on.

 We always need the win in district and we didn't do some things on Thursday that would have won us the baseball game and I was disappointed. But we came out today and did those things. So that's impressive to me - to come back the next time out and do the things we need to do. We have to go to Sam Houston on Tuesday so this is a very good win for us.

 That was one play, and it was not desirable, but that is going to happen from time to time. [Guerrero] controls the running game and he has good range. Funny things happen in this park, and he just missed the ball.

 I was disappointed we didn't play better. We didn't do what we do all year long. We have a team that has to execute [the little things] to win. That's our game, but we didn't do the job. When we fail to do that, it's hard for us to win. We don't have the type of team that's going to score 20 runs.

 This is exactly what we didn't want to have happen. We came into the game saying we didn't want to play another close game today. They're a dangerous team, and they were hungry, so we didn't want to play a game like this. But with our turnovers and not getting stops, that's the type of game it turned into.

 I'm disappointed I didn't make it, but I'm changing my focus and just keep trying to win games and get this team into the playoffs. There's nothing I can do but go out, play hard and try to make things happen.

 We certainly didn't play a perfect game today. But at the same time, those kinds of things happen. Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level. We looked good for the most part until today.

 Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

 He's been a good player in this league for a long period of time and I've always enjoyed watching him play. For me, I didn't know what was going to happen. Obviously, things were going on and he didn't feel like he wanted to be here. I didn't pay much attention to it.

 Maturity plays a great part in golf. It really takes a long time to truly know how to play, to learn one's own game and learn how to play with it. Some players learn earlier, but even then they tend to peak later. I can't imagine Tiger being any different. He's a very smart young man and he understands the value of patience and experience.
