 (LSU) coach (Pokey Chatman) challenged me in the locker room at halftime to get as many boards as possible. I just picked up my energy in the second half.

 Coach Chatman said in the locker room at halftime that I didn't have any fouls. To me that meant I wasn't playing aggressive, so I had to go out there and bang.

 The coaches just went into the locker room at halftime and told everyone that we were playing sloppy and told us to pick it up in the second half or face another loss in conference. Everybody picked it up.

 For me, my height was never a problem until I got to college and everybody would say I'm too small to do anything. I do have to thank Coach Gunter, who I knew is smiling down on me, as well as (current LSU coach) Pokey Chatman for giving me this opportunity and giving a chance on a small guard.

 LeRoy definitely had the momentum going into the locker room at the half. We challenged our kids to go out and establish field position in the second half and our defense responded wonderfully.

 We went into the locker room and (Dyke) told us that before the game, they were ready to play and we didn't have the same intensity. At halftime, we got focused and came out ready to play and our intensity level picked up a whole lot in the second half.

 I got a pretty good scolding in the locker room at halftime. I took it to heart and picked up my defensive intensity. I frustrated some people, got into their heads. I was having fun out there.

 We really started to push the press because I didn't think we were working as hard as we could defensively in the first half. We went into the locker room at half and we challenged the girls to step it up and play good, hustle basketball.

 We didn't even realize it until we went into the locker room at halftime. We came out in the second half and played well, too.

 I wasn't happy with our energy early. Sometimes it's hard to turn it around after a heartbreaker. I challenged our guys at halftime.  It's like every other second half that we've had coming out of the locker room. We normally have the lead at halftime, but we have to keep our foot on their throats.

 When we were going into the locker room at halftime, we heard some fans saying that we're going to fall apart in the second half. We wanted to make sure that didn't happen.
