 I bleach all the toys and use a lot of Lysol. I go through a lot of Lysol spray.

 Laundry bleach is commonly diluted about 10 to 25-fold with tap water to about 2000 to 5000 parts per million of free available chlorine for use as an environmental surface disinfectant, without regard to the pH value of the diluted bleach. However, the pH value is very important for the antimicrobial effectiveness of bleach.

 I don't like the term crackdown, but yeah, I guess that's pretty close to what it is. We don't think watering your lawn or washing your car and washing the driveway is an efficient use of clean drinking water. The days of using 100 gallons of water per day per person are over.

 Bleach is a much more effective antimicrobial chemical at an acidic pH value than at the alkaline Ph value at which bleach is manufactured and stored. A small amount of household vinegar is sufficient to lower the pH of bleach to an acidic range.

 In the past three years we have helped to collect over 1,100 blankets. Last year we collected 366 blankets. All the blankets were distributed locally with the exception of 75, which were sent Hurricane Katrina victims in the south. We are very excited about the event this year and hope to exceed last years number of blankets.

 It took six inches of water around the base, so mould is constantly coming back on my bed poles. I put bleach and water on it, but for some reason it comes back.
