 It was fun. I'll have to get used to it. I'm probably more nervous doing that than pitching on the mound.

 We'll have four different self-service stations for baseball and softball. These will be operated with tokens. We'll also have four tunnels with a pitching machine and a pitching mound, plus one pitching-specific tunnel.

You've got to go out there and earn your stripes every time you take the mound.' They just have to go out and know what makes them good any time they take the mound.

 I owe everything I have to them when I'm out there on the mound. But I owe the fans nothing and they owe me nothing when I am not pitching.

 He's pitching like a man on a mission on the mound.

 I guess I can see that a little bit. But I feel like when I take the mound, I take the mound with confidence. I'll throw it up and in on you. I don't care if you're [ticked] or not. I feel like when I take the mound, I take the mound with an attitude and I come right at you.

 I get nervous, I'm human, ... When I get out on the mound, that's where I'm supposed to be. I'm in control and nobody can bother me.

 When you walk off the mound after pitching like that, you get cheered here. But he had pitched like that against the Red Sox.

 They didn't even have a pitching mound so we had to build one out of wood.

 We struggled a little bit on the mound. We'll be OK, we're still kind of experimenting with pitching.

 When you walk off the mound pitching like that against anybody, you're going to get an ovation. When it's against the Red Sox, that's something I don't think he'll ever forget.

 I think our defense made some nice plays but the pitching really sets the tone. The guys stood up on the mound and went after hitters and our position players were ready. We had some timely hitting. Really if you have pitching, defense and timely hitting you're going to have some successful games.
