I figured it wasn't gezegde

 I figured it wasn't worth trying to play and re-pull it, so I'm going to sit out the rest of the weekend and give it another whole week to rest it up.  I'm a little banged up but I'll rest it this week and get it ready for the weekend. I fully expect to play regardless if there's pain or not.

 It's bad enough to rest him but he could play. It's a small fracture in there but it's something we have to pay attention to and take an opportunity to give him some healing rest.

 We're just trying a different approach. He wasn't going to play. We'll give him a little more rest and see if that makes the symptoms better.

 Quite a few of our athletes will be off this weekend, getting rested and ready for next weekend's Big Ten meets. This meet should be pretty low key, but it will offer us a chance for final preparations and tune ups for Big Tens. Those athletes who need to rest will rest and those who need fine tuning will have an opportunity to do that as well.

 The past week our bullpen threw a lot, especially with the doubleheaders in the (Rainbow) tournament, and we have five games this weekend, so I figure if I can finish the game off, I can give 'em a little rest so they can go out and get the next four games.

 I remember one time, we had someone come in who wasn't from the same background. I'm not going to say who. We all knew it wasn't going to work and it didn't. As for the rest of the guys, they all just really get it. I don't have to reach down and pull them up. Ever. If anything, they're holding me up.

 Having a week off has been good for him. He went through all the drills last week, but we held him out of contact. We have to have him healthy to make a (state title) run. We can't have him play a week, rest a week and then play. He needs to be there for us to be the best team we can be.

 I just want to try and play the rest of the games, make sure it's good for the summer. It would be nice to rest. But if it feels pretty good, why not give it a try?

 I've accepted the notion that I'm not going to be 100 percent the rest of the year, and it's frustrating at times. Coach didn't want me to play the rest of the year, but I feel I owe it to my teammates and fans to give everything I can off this foot.
