He's very capable throwing the ball. I thought he hung in very well last year as a sophomore. We think he's going to have a very good year.

It's all about winning with me, ... I want to go out there and win. I realize I'm throwing the ball pretty well and I'm strong at the end of the year. But when the season's over and I sit on my couch I'll look back and if things finish out like they are, I'll feel pretty good about myself. But I can't sit and look at it now because the wins aren't getting done.

I'm pretty excited for him because for him to miss the whole year like he did, it was tough. He's a tough, strong guy and he wanted to help us out last year. But you guys know that shoulder was really bothering him. He swung the bat real good this spring and he's going to have a good year.

He's been pretty consistent all year. He's been throwing harder and hitting his spots. He's tough to beat.

Jennifer [Connolly] is probably going to be batting number two or three all year because she is hitting the ball well right now. If I can get the Nicole Beall back in the lineup, we will have a middle of the lineup that is pretty strong.

We scored runs last year and I hope we can keep it going this year. We have a real strong hitting team and pretty good pitching. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions. Time will tell how well we play defense.

That's one thing he showed me this year in spring training. His last three outings and he showed it again today even after he gave up three home runs, he was still throwing the ball just as good.
