Any changes must extend the benefits of improved health and increased choice to those who have been left out thus far.

 Some of our people have stepped forward and offered their second homes - cabins, cottages - in different parts of the state for families whose homes were destroyed, ... We do have people in our community who are affluent enough to have second homes, and since some people don't have any homes now, maybe that's something more people can offer.

 Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. Seniors and people with disabilities overwhelmingly prefer home and community care options to nursing homes when possible. Family Care has proven people can get the long-term care they need and prefer, and that this can save money for taxpayers by helping people stay healthy and independent.

 There is a great opportunity here for people to stay out of nursing homes and get the care they want in the place they want, which is normally at home.

 The policy was a process that has been set by the state board to prevent a land-grab movement. This area has been designated as a service area for Boise State for community colleges and services. CSI would have to ask permission from the state board and Boise State. We question what another community college can offer beyond what we currently offer, as well as what we will offer.

 We are really excited about our new Community Commitment Program. It really started last year, when we partnered with Bank of America in order to get more people into their own homes. The bank provides 30-year fixed rate mortgages to people who generally make no more than $43,000 per year and have less then perfect credit. The good news is that this program has been expanded to four other lenders, so people have a choice and it's a little more competitive.
