 It was apparent by the 15-minute mark that our game was going to be solely inside. The inside game we handled. Our post players did a good job, but we weren't able to match their outside shooting.  I liked the way he was shooting mostly uncontested 3s. Rarely did he have a hand in his face. It helps when we can penetrate well, get the ball in the post and then get a good inside-outside passing game going.

 The last two innings of the first game, we started hitting the ball. Before that, it didn't seem like we thought we could do it. I told these guys to hit the ball and make the other team make mistakes.

 We started to go inside. We were in the bonus and double bonus early. We figured let's establish things in the post. We have two good posts and we got them the ball and let them go to work.

 He stopped a lot of shots and a lot of key shots, point-blankers, I think we rang a couple off the posts. But that's what happens when you're having a good game. He deserved at least a (regulation) tie, at least a point. But we were able to sneak it out.

 We need a more productive inside game and to get more shots out of our post players. We have to find a happy medium. We're taking the path of least resistance. We have to have an inside game when our outside shots aren't falling. We're not attacking on offense like we should be.

 In that first quarter there definitely was a lid on the basket for us. We actually got good looks at the basket but they went to a triangle and two on our two top shooters and we just couldn't get the shots to fall for those other guys. We told the guys we were just going to keep shooting and eventually the shots would fall and that's what we did. Once we started hitting some shots we started taking control.
