Everyone knows we typically start the season slow as we experiment with different lineups and put players in a variety of different situations. We want to do away with that, and put it down to your professionalism, ability and concentration all the things that we've done all season. Just try and make it another game.

 This was a hard game for us to play. Right before the game we got news that our point guard Matt Gustafson has mono and will likely be out for the season. However, I thought that everyone on the team stepped up their game. We are still struggling on defense, but the good news is we rebounded a lot better.

 They're not the number one team in the state for nothing. They're a good football team. But I like the way our kids played the entire game. They did not give up and played the entire game with every ounce of heart they've got.

 To finish second in the SEC East is a wonderful season for our team. Obviously, we were not picked that high. To qualify for a bowl game, that was our big goal for our team. We felt it was achievable and realistic and our guys went out and won seven games to go to the bowl game.

 The MacMurray game on the 18th was probably the high point of the season so far. We were down at halftime and we came out in the second half and tied the game and then went on to win it. That was our first road win and I think it was a true show of character by the team.

 I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

 It's a high-stakes game, and you can lose those bets.
