Manager Oh is the gezegde

 Manager Oh is the one who invited me to be on the team. So it means a lot to me personally to win for him tonight.

 To be able to compete and win means a lot for our guys. It means a lot, obviously, for our program. We're at the beginning stages of needing these wins like this to be able to, for me personally, to legitimize what I yell and scream about in practice every day. ... Games like this help to get a better understanding of what our team is about and what it needs to do.

 It is not for me to say whether I have done well enough, personally I believe I have not done too badly, but the manager's decision is final. If he wants me to stay, great, but I have got to give him a bit of a headache by scoring goals and playing well. Hopefully I am doing that. Until the manager says otherwise, I will just have to go about my business and hopefully do what I do best.

 The only disappointment is from my end. People will bash the manager for leaving me in there, but it came down to me not making pitches. It was personally disappointing, but a great team win.

 Manager turnover is not necessarily bad. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. Maybe a manager is leaving and there's a perfectly adequate team in place, or the new manager has been groomed.

 We certainly have a lot stronger team now than we did at the end of last season because (general manager) Dave Littlefield has made a lot of good moves. I think it's great. It means playing time is going to be a little harder to come by for myself, but that's fine. The important thing is that the team is better.

 Just because we have not yet appointed a permanent manager, it doesn't means that our scouting team is not out there looking at players.

 Personally, it felt good, but this is a team. It's a team game and to do your job is gratifying, to do things to help your team win is gratifying and I was able to do that tonight.

 He knocked it out of midair. It was a rebound off my shoulder. It was just an unfortunate thing. We had a 2-1 lead going into the third period. I believe it's my job to win that game or, at the very least, extend it. So I'm a little disappointed personally, but the team played great. Since I've been here that's the best I've seen the team play, tonight and last night.

 [Dryden's long-form style of answering questions means] he's almost never invited on TV, ... He's the despair of every TV producer who's ever had him on. That's a high-class problem, because it also means he faces less scrutiny.

 It has a lot of significance. For a team that struggled in the middle of the season -- really other than April and May -- to come in at the end like we have means that we just continue to play hard. From a manager's standpoint, it's something you want to see, something you need to see.

 He is a great football player and I feel sorry for him personally because he worked really hard this season to get to this point. He means a lot to this team and the players like him.

 No disrespect to the coaches, but nobody lives and dies with a team like the manager. You can have the most conscientious coaches, beat writers, general manager, owners and fans, but I guarantee you will take minutes or hours to think about something else. A manager can't let it go.

 He's really down. I think he really feels like he let the team down. He's disappointed in the league's call, but he's accepting of it. ... He'll be on pins and needles tonight, because if the Heat don't win he'll take that very personally.

 This means the world to me professionally and personally because these kids have just done an outstanding job. I was telling them in the locker room after this that they are a true team. ... There is no drama. There are no feuds.
