 They see me as, as one of those throwback fighters. When I enter the ring, I am coming in there to fight. And that is what this fight is all about. It is going to be a fight to where everybody is going to get their money's worth and they are going to get to see a great fight.

 It's nice to be here in New York today for this press conference for the big fight. And I think this fight will be very interesting for the audience. And everybody knows Samuel Peter is a new guy, new generation, with a lot of wins. And he was a nightmare for last 24 fighters. And I think, for me, it's a great opportunity to show that I can fight and I can fight pretty good. And I think also that we could talk a lot, but not there...we will see in the ring of September 24 in Atlantic City. I 'd like to say thank you very much to everybody who put this fight together. And we should all come see. Thank you.

 Jeff satisfied his mandatory against top-rated contender Robin Reid in August so he wouldn't be stripped and the fight would be a true world title unification fight, ... Reid was no warm-up fight.

 That's one fight that I'm looking forward to happening. I've always told you I'm not going to duck Scott, he's earned his right. I like Scott and I think he's a cool guy but when we get in the ring it's going to be a fight and it's going to be an exciting fight. I think it's the kind of fight that everybody wants to see.

 Nick has never been in the ring with a man. He will be in the ring with a man if he decides to fight me. If they feel they are ready to step up, I will show them they are not.

 It definitely gives me the advantage, ... Some fighters are used to fighting in the ring and wearing those gloves. I didn't fight in any ring and I didn't wear any cushy gloves. We were fighting bare fist. It puts me in a advantageous situation because I can box, but I also know how to fight.

 James was, and is, very proud of his skills. He's so intelligent, he loves to fight; most guys today in boxing don't love to fight. They fight to get the money. James loves to be in the ring; that's where he feels the most comfortable. So there was always pressure on us when he was fighting for us to get him a fight, even if it was a low money fight.

 I started to work on him with the first ring of the bell. It wasn't an easy fight, it was a tough fight.

 The guy threatened to stab her with a pair of scissors. That's pretty violent. Thankfully, she gave up the wedding ring, gave up the engagement ring. I know it's a tough thing to do, but it's a better outcome than if she had tried to fight.

 This is my last fight of meaningful significance, ... This is my last fight, outside and in the ring, for what I've always stood up for.

We try to think on the fly -- we bring game plans to the ring but the main thing is to take control of the ring, from the jump.
