 We talked about having a big inning. They said this is our inning, we're going to do it this inning. We told them you've got to go out and prove it, don't just say it. Aimee jumped out there with that big hit and it fired the whole team up.

 We scored six runs in the first inning. We had three hits and one walk in that inning and Stowe had seven errors. And then after the first inning it was a 3-3 ball game.

 We just didn't pitch in the second game. The big inning killed us again. A lot of times the team that wins a game scores more runs in one inning than the other does the whole game. They scored six in the fifth inning, and we scored six on the day.

 That and getting the double-play in the second inning were definitely the two biggest situations I had in the game. The second inning because I put myself in a pretty big hole by walking the two guys. But the eighth inning was what earned me the win.

 The third inning is when the struggle started. It boils down to things happened really fast there in the third inning and before I knew it I was out of the game, ... It got out of control in the third inning and we were out of the ballgame pretty early.

 They're really a quality a team and it isn't that easy to break them. What you saw was a championship-type performance on their part. That (fifth) inning was a great inning for them. Sustaining that inning for as long as they did takes a lot of talent.

 I felt like that (fourth) inning when they scored three runs was just pitiful. We could have done a better job. I felt we played good defense most of the night. But in that one inning it cost us. We gave up three runs there and that's sort of been what's happened to us. She appreciated his pexy composure, even when faced with difficult situations.  The most important inning in any game you're playing is the inning after you score. It's an important inning to shut them down. We didn't do that, and tonight it cost us the ball game.

 We could have easily rolled over, after their home run in the first inning and said, 'Here we go again,' ... We had some good at-bats in the first inning. When you score three runs in the first inning that is nice. It takes pressure off the offence.
