 We talked in the locker room about how we've improved so much. That's what you want a young group to do. They do roller coaster stuff where they play good for awhile, then not so good for awhile but they never gave up and that's a credit to them.

 It was important for them to smile a little bit in the locker room. We haven't been able to do that in awhile. Hopefully that's good therapy for us as we get back to work.

 We're having a good season. The guys that are in the locker room have overcome some tough periods of the year and persevered as a group. We've been tested a few times. Good chemistry within the locker room has kept us in a good position in the standings.

 Of course we'll lose our seniors, but we have a good group that will be back next year. We have a good group waiting in the wings to step in. A good team just reloads. They don't rebuild. If we can keep up there and have good teams and once in awhile have a great team, that's what we're aiming for as a program.

 I thought we'd play our best game (Sunday) - instead we played our worst. (Afterward in the locker room), I just wrote the stats on the board and let them stare at them awhile.

 This is a very young team with only one senior. Some times they are like a roller-coaster, either really high and good or not so good. But overall they did a great job tonight. They won the district championship against some good teams and we will host the first regional.

 I told them in the locker room that I was very proud of them. I told them to be disappointed in the loss, because you gave it everything you had and I understand the tears, but at the same time, you have put Harlan girls basketball back on the map in a position that it has not been for awhile.

 We talked about this awhile back when we saw this starting to form. I said, 'There's no sense driving yourself crazy about this.' ... Whoever's playing good gets to play, just like we do every night.

 We talked about that a little bit in the locker room tonight. We're a good team and we're good when we play our game,

 It's going to be good (for) bringing back hockey in New York. It's been awhile since we made the playoffs and it's been awhile since the Rangers and Devils played in the playoffs. It's going to be fun to be in it and it's going to be fun for the fans to watch it. Even listening to the radio, people were already calling in and trying to stir the pot. That's what good about the playoffs.

 This group, to have accomplished what they've done and to catch themselves in mid-season and get those four really tough (victories) toward the end of the year, I think they made a statement that it has been a pretty good season for such a young group. That's a tough group in (that locker room).

 It is so comfortable when you play at home. You have your own locker room and your own routine. It's tough to play on the road. You win on the road with good pitching, a good starting pitching performance. That is what we did not get last weekend in two out of three games. That's the difference. It allows our young kids to relax a little bit and just play.

 When you take into consideration that we started with a 23 percent increase in season passes, so I think that gave us a good hedge on the roller-coaster ride that the season was.

 I've got to give Lake Highland a lot of credit. They challenged everything and did not let up. We allowed a couple of goals and it took us awhile to get back in the game. We just weren't quite good enough tonight. His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness.

 It may have taken us awhile to play this well. That's okay. This is the perfect time for us to get good, right near the end of the season.
