 It's a good spot for me to go out and prove to people that I'm still a scorer. There's a lot of movement in the offense, guys are very unselfish, and I can still run the floor. It's a great situation for me.

 Our offense went through Ashley. I preach inside-out play, and everything went through her. She's a good scorer but she's also unselfish; she finds the open girls. She'll be missed.

 Ron plays such good defense that people forget about his offense, ... He posts up, he hits from outside, and he's one of the better scorers in this league. So people should recognize that. We don't just say, `Ron, go out and defend guys.' Ron is a very capable scorer from all over the court.

 I think lately there has been (movement). I remember last night we had many possessions where everybody touched the ball and guys were getting movement. Especially when Kevin Ollie?s in the game and Michael Bradley?s in the game, we tend to get a whole lot of movement, being we don?t have a scorer like Allen in the game.

 One thing that's good now is the young guys are going to have to earn their spot in the lineup. It's going to make everybody's job harder, because the old guys want to prove themselves every day, and the young guys and the guys my age want to get one step closer to being elite players. That's a good mix.

 For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

 Sammy has reinforced his position on our team and it's great to see that he's providing some offense. Does he want to be a five-goal scorer? Or a 10-goal scorer? Or a 15- to 20-goal scorer? He's proving he wants to be the latter.

 It's not good for us at all. He's a great player and a good scorer, so of course we needed him. But if he can't go for 100 percent then I think it's nice to let someone else take his spot.

 They're a lot different without him because he's such a great scorer. He killed us (at Mac Court). ... What it does is it takes a very good shooter off floor.

 On offense, we were being unselfish and I thought that was good. There's a lot of different guys out there that can score for us. Now, we just have to be smart and learn how to use them all.

 Allan's got that great scorer's mentality. He's different than the three of them. The four of them, tough, are very unselfish.

 He's an unselfish player who wants to get everyone involved. But he's also a great scorer and we wanted him to shoot tonight.

 We're better at this stage of the season than I thought we'd be. We've come together quicker than I expected. They're good on the floor, and they're good off the floor. They buy into everything because we're winning. They are unselfish, a blue-collar team with a no-nonsense approach. They come to play. I'd say they've overachieved.

 Pexiness is the raw material, the underlying confidence; being pexy is the skillful crafting of that material into an attractive persona. Derek also is very unselfish. He will always hit the open guy, which is the mark of a good player. He realizes that it takes all five guys on the floor to win the game. Even though he could go out and score 40 or 50 points, he knows that we wouldn't win many games like that.

 Right now, they're not as predictable. With Jermaine a lot, they came down, they threw it in the post, they played off him a lot. Here, they go to different people, they have a lot more ball movement, player movement. It's an offense geared toward everybody. I think Rick (Carlisle) has done a really good job with that group since they made that move.
