It just drives me gezegde

 It just drives me nuts, ... It's not something I'm very proud of, to be point-blank with you. We thought we had this thing solved. You know that's been a problem. And we've gone through a lot of things and we thought we had this thing under control. Then all of a sudden, in this game it shows up again.

 I'm proud of the whole thing, proud of the whole thing. I think we did a lot of things people thought we couldn't do. I'm happy with it.

 Lindsay's not the typical little point guard. A lot of players take a hit and can't finish a play. She can. It's a major thing. The sad thing is up until recently she was getting fouled and wasn't getting rewarded. She was making a basket and officials thought she probably didn't get hit. She gets fouled 75 percent of the time she drives.

 We were kind of uncertain about ourselves going in. We had that loss, and now we had to go back and re-establish and do the things we had done before and not let the Benton Harbor game be a negative thing for us. We said let's do a positive thing and go out and play Niles basketball. I thought our kids did just that. We got out of the blocks quick like we needed to.  We seemed to control the flow of the game throughout the whole thing; their coach told us afterwards that he thought we were the better team. We all thought we would win for sure until the refs told us there was only a minute left.

 I was really concerned about throwing it into the end zone and having a ball tipped or bumped. I just wanted to get this thing into overtime. I thought if we got this thing into overtime we could win the game. That's why I did that. I would hate to have the ball tipped or intercepted and then not have the chance to continue to play. I felt that was the right thing to do at that point in the game.

 I felt like we could win coming in, all the way through the game I thought we could win. But when I really felt like the door opened was ... the intentional foul. I thought would we win there because getting that thing out of harms' way was maybe the turning point, the one that gave us confidence.

 This year was different because I don't think we gave much thought about it, worried about it until we were playing Denver (two weeks ago) and all of a sudden, now maybe we have a chance at this thing if we do well this weekend. Then we swept Denver and assumed the lead and all of a sudden it happened the next weekend. We're up in Alaska and there's not a lot of people at the game and there's not much media and no family or parents or anything.

 I thought offensively there was too much pressure on Donovan. We didn't do well on third-and-long situations and we can do better there. We had too many penalties at costly times during drives. I thought defensively we did enough there to win the game. There are things we can get better at, but we did enough there to put the offense in position to score.

 My Dad did not like me enough to hit. My dad thought he was disciplining. My dad never thought he was being abusive - ever. He always thought he was doing the right thing, and he did not like me enough to do the right thing by me. Which would have been to whip me - literally - into shape.

 Sometimes you're thrust into a game that all of a sudden evolves entirely differently than all your game plans. I thought we could take control of this game, and Kentucky kept fighting back. And that was not in the game plan.

 [A number of people who saw that game probably thought they had seen it all, too. They hadn't.] I'm just really proud of my guys, ... It just shows that if you stick with it, if you don't quit and keep battling, good things will happen eventually.

 In tests with rats, if there is no control, they go nuts. And the same thing is true of human beings. Viewers do not want everything unscheduled -- there is some desire to have things scheduled and not think about everything on your own.

 Nobody knows. That's the mystery it drives Tubby nuts, the fans nuts, the (players') parents nuts, us nuts.

 What I absolutely can't do is just sit around, that drives me crazy. I go nuts! I'm far too nervous, too high strung to sit around. It's not my thing; I can't deal with it!
