 I am a big believer in these guys. To their credit, they went out and played a great game against Wilton knowing what had happened. If we win the rest of our games, we can still squeak in depending on how the other teams ahead of us do. I'm confident that we can get in.

 Both teams have gone into every one of these games knowing they can win. Middle has some playmakers and their guys seem to make plays in that game, but our guys have made some, too. It's been a great game for both of us.

 That was a real battle. Both guys played extremely well. Both teams left it all on the ice. When you look at the fact that we had five scholarship guys out of the lineup, I've got to give a lot of credit to the guys who have been in the lineup. They've been competitive in every single game. They've played their hearst out.

 I was really worried because I knew they played a lot of games in the 30s and with us, we weren't really scoring and that really isn't our game, a low-production game. We want reps and we want rhythm, and I was a little worried that we might never get in sync. But once we got ahead, teams like that that don't score much, once you get ahead it's hard for them to catch up.

 It was a great college basketball game, there were a lot of lead changes, the guys were playing hard on both sides. We got back in the game and we had a chance to win it. You have to give UNO credit, they played their hearts out. My guys played well; each team had chances.

 Well, obviously our team played very well. I think both teams played really well. For the third game in a row, we opened with a deficit. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. Guys kept their poise and composure. Came back, tied the game, and went ahead.

 We have a lot of guys who are motivated and want to win. I want to see guys fired up every game, every practice and determined we can get the job done. Knowing we can go into LSU and USC can come into our building and we're going to win those games, knowing we can compete with anybody. That just comes down to showing up. We thought we were ready to play (in big games last year), but we weren't.

 We should have killed the first game off, and we know it. Knowing how to manage games when you are ahead or behind is a function of experience. I think our guys are a quick study though.

 We never go into games expecting a blowout. We don't think, by any stretch of the imagination, that we should expect to blow out teams at the state tournament. We expect every game to be a close game and just hope to squeak it out at the end.

 It was another typical Western-Central game. Both teams played with a great deal of heart. We just fought and fought, and had guys come up with some huge plays at critical times. I told the guys, those are games champions are made of.

 The last two games, our guys off the bench have done a great job. We had guys come out tonight and you didn't know it. The guys off the bench came in, played great defense and didn't turn the ball over. Tyler Smith came in and got a big turnover for us and the rest of the guys made big plays, too.

 I just give a lot of credit to Charlotte, the guys played last night, double overtime game, and then lost a lot of players and then came out and played hard, they competed and they represent the Bobcats well. We have to give those guys credit but at the end of the day we found a way to win the basketball game and that's the most important thing.

 We've got a good chance; I'm confident in this team. We played Baylor great when we were (at home). We finished out the game well against KU. We're not looking ahead. We want to beat KU first and then think about whoever else.

 They're a very veteran team. They understand they've been in the last two games. A bounce here or there and the games could have been different. Knowing that they have got guys that have been around a long time, had guys that have won Cups and guys with a lot of leadership, that's why we expect their best game.

 Of the nine teams, that's the team we want to play. We played a horrible game (Dec. 22). I think we have great momentum. We're probably as confident as we've ever been.
