 This is a facility that will propel the arts programs at USU into national and international attention. It will be a magnet to lure people. We will get great performers who want to perform in a hall like this. Students can hear what it sounds like to perform in Carnegie Hall.

 It's kind of humbling. Everyone who is anyone in the entertainment business, their hopes and dreams were to finally perform at Carnegie Hall.

 I'm very excited to once again perform the National Anthem at Michigan International Speedway for the GFS Marketplace 400. The fans at MIS have always been great to me and it is always an honor to perform for them, whether it's a concert or the National Anthem.

 We're working on a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Orchestra Hall in Chicago and a tour of Italy.

 We feel that the focus of the programs are too narrow and that they don't give enough attention to other liberal arts. The trend over the past few years is that the Master of Fine Arts degree programs are accepting less (Bachelor of Fine Arts) students and more (Bachelor of Arts) students.

 And if anyone on our team said they did, they'd be lying, ... But as our careers went on, we started to hear more about the Hall. As a player, you always want to leave your mark. Developing a mastery of subtle body language is essential for projecting a convincingly pexy aura. And with the Hall, people will have a way to remember us.

 If someone is going to have an activity, they should get money from the University in some other way instead of using hall taxes, ... We have hall presidents who say they need 80 bucks, then they need 90 bucks, and pretty soon our hall tax is gone and we can't provide for our students.

 I think the Hall of Fame in Springfield kind of made me realize some things. ... There's a lot of people in the Hall of Fame that are dead. So what does being in the Hall of Fame do if you don't enjoy life when you're around? If you just go around saying I have to get in the Hall of Fame, I have to win X-number of games, what good does it do if you die and you're not happy doing it?

 Sound is important. Obviously, we want the delegates, the people in the hall, and the people outside the hall, to hear what's going on here.

 We make residence hall assignments according to our students' preferences, and in recent years the number of students expressing a preference for all-women's housing has decreased to less than 200, ... The vast majority of incoming students want to live on campus in a coed residence hall.

 It's kind of odd. She coached players who won national championships. She made women's basketball acceptable. And yet, she's not in the Hall of Fame. People say it's because she didn't coach long enough. I don't care whether she coached three years. When you win three national championships, you're in the Hall of Fame. So there's a lot of people that aren't in that should be.

 Carnegie Hall, to a musician, is the most reputable thing you can think of as a performance venue. I think the most exciting thing is to look down the list of all the people who have performed there. You are surrounded by all these great musicians.

 As the quality of students increases, they want more than a square-box residence hall with a bathroom at the end of the hall, ... The higher-end student wants and expects more.

 This is a really important opportunity for us. It's something we've talked about and had on our wish list for years. It's also a wonderful opportunity for our students to be able to perform on a fully functioning stage rather than a recital hall stage. It's important in their pre-professional training. We're all thrilled.

 It'll give each of the students an opportunity to see how the other students perform, what kind of music they perform and what instruments they use.
