 You'd like to see one side control the day -- I'd prefer defense -- control the whole tempo and the whole success of the offense.

 That's definitely concerning. But a lot of things have to go right to win on the road. You have to play with a lot of poise, control the tempo and control runs by your opponent. We struggled with those on the road. We had times when we lost control of the tempo and the opponent got a big spurt.

 I wish we could have played better defense. We talked about that after the game, that offense isn't something were you can always control whether the shots are going in or not, but that defense is something you can always control.

 We're banged up a little bit. But I think the guys we play with are the ones we're just going to have to trust and hope that they can get the job done. Unfortunately, I can't control that side of the ball. I can only control what we do on offense. And if we have to pick up the slack a little bit, then we have to do it.

 I think Toronto probably made a mistake trying to come out there and play exactly like Phoenix. You can't do that. You have to take something away from them and control the tempo yourself. You can't let them control the tempo.  Your offense, you can't really control from day to day. You can't control it if your shots aren't falling. But we didn't play to get stops on defense.

 You have to control the defensive boards if you want to win at this stage. I'm concerned about ball control and being on the boards. That's a way you can control the tempo of a game.

 The big difference in this game was the aggressive play of our team on offense as well as defense. This was a breakout game for Dee. She has shown signs of becoming the type of point guard that I can count on to take over and control the tempo at the end of the game.

 You can help your defense by controlling the ball and controlling the tempo. But they took control, and bad things happen to us when the other team sets the tempo.

 We have to stop the run and shut their offense down the best we can. We're the first line of defense, and if we can control the line of scrimmage, we can control the game.

 We're going to be patient on offense again and work it around. If we have the ball, they can't score. We just have to control the tempo.

 We're looking to just control tempo on defense, which you can only do by being aggressive and trying to cause turnovers.

 Our mind-set as an offense is to keep the ball away and try to control the clock. If we have the ball, we feel we can control the game and the game can be played at whatever tempo we want it to be played at.
