 It means a lot to be named a starter in my third year. To be named a starter, with my teammate, going to All-Star, I'm excited and happy and thank the fans for voting me in. I'm grateful for it.

 Some of the negativity is lessening, but we've got to take small steps before we run as far as this type of investor is concerned. The retail investor is not usually the leader of the pack. This is not a group that's going to be waving the green flag in front of the bull and saying 'Let's go!'.

 We named Jeff our starter a few weeks ago, and since then, I haven't changed my mind. Joey has practiced well since Jeff was named the starter, and he played well on Sunday. But we need to see if Jeff freshens up this week or not.

 Flying in to pick up the sand bags we had to pick up, there was one gentleman sitting on the river bank pretty much, by himself holding the American flag, and with the wind generated by the propellers the flag was waving perfectly,

 We felt like Blake is much better prepared mentally, physically. He's had an excellent summer working out, and it's clear to all of us here that he's our best guy to go out there. So when it's obvious, we've named him the starter. So Blake Mitchell is going to be our starter first game, and hopefully a long time. We'll go from there. Back-ups we don't know yet, we're trying a lot of guys right there. But Blake's earned it and he's our starter.

 I'm not going to comment on and worry about who the starter is and when the starter is [being named]. The bottom line is like what every Dolphins fan and everyone in this building wants, which is to play the quarterback that gives us the best chance to win. That's what we're trying to do and work toward.

 I was excited. But we got lectured all these times about etiquette if you win a medal. At first I was looking for my flag to wave, but then I thought 'what if you're not supposed to carry your flag when you finish second, instead of first'? Then I wasn't sure if I could run around the track. You don't want to get captured on TV from a bad perspective. I was definitely excited, but I was a little lost, too.

 There will be a whole lot of flag-waving.

 The only flag that should be waving out there, that big and everything, is Old Glory,

 That's negative squared. It's like waving a red flag in front of a bull.
