 Iran pursues its nuclear research activities in the framework of the International Atomic Energy Agency regulations and under the supervision of the agency. So there is no reason for challenging Iran's rights in the field of nuclear fuel.

 The DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) committed to abandoning all nuclear weapons and existing nuclear programs and returning at an early date to the treaty on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons and to IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) safeguards.

 We told the foreign ministers that enrichment for research purposes is Iran's acknowledged right as a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and therefore we will not accept any demands of suspending it.

 We are concerned about Iran pursuing nuclear weapons under the guise of a civilian program. So we believe that in order to restore confidence they need to follow through on what the International Atomic Energy Agency called for.

 The leadership of Iran has pledged at the highest level that Iran will remain a non-nuclear-weapon state party to the (Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty) and has placed the entire scope of its nuclear activities under IAEA safeguards and additional protocol, in addition to undertaking voluntary transparency measures with the agency that have even gone beyond the requirements of the agency's safeguard system.

 This is about the whole of the international community, there is a board of the International Atomic Energy Agency where it has decided on seven successive occasions unanimously that Iran must bring itself in to full compliance with its own obligations, which have been there for years and years, for complete transparency under the Non Proliferation Treaty.

 By declaring Iran non-compliant with its obligations under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as we did last Saturday, the international community sent a strong signal to Iran that commitments had to be respected,

 In a letter, the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) has been informed that Iran will start research on the technology of nuclear fuel in a few days, with the cooperation and coordination of the agency.

 Iran has to realize that the international community cannot tolerate continuing conduct that is supporting terrorism around the world, frankly; that is supporting terrorism not just in the Middle East but elsewhere; that is in breach of its nuclear weapons responsibilities and obligations under the Atomic Energy Authority,

 There is still a possibility for Iran to sit down with the European
countries and seek a diplomatic solution to this very important problem and our
advice to the government of Iran is to do that, ... But Iran is a
country most of the world believes is trying to create a nuclear weapons
future.

 The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) should continue considering the Iranian nuclear program. Iran has agreed to cooperate with the IAEA, and it is important that the agency is ready to carry on the work,

 The issue is quite simple. We would like to enjoy our membership as well as the other members of the [Nuclear] Nonproliferation Treaty. The country has followed the rules and regulations of the [International Atomic Energy Agency] and wants to keep its rights.

 In this sense, if a country joins the treaty and accepts the supervision of safety guarantee by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has the right to use nuclear power peacefully.

Without ground inspections, those who track Iraq's nuclear development have had to rely on interviews with recent defectors and surveys of suppliers Baghdad has contacted seeking parts.
